Covering the area around Yaowarat Road and a busy section of Charoen Krung Road, a walk through this most bustling Chinese community features exotic cultural and commercial activities along its many narrow streets and alleys. During the night time the sidewalks are crowded with food stalls making it the largest food street in the city.

Starting near Sanam Luang Ground, this tour route will bring you to see the boundary of the capital area in the early Rattanakosin period which includes some of Bangkok's landmarks such as the Giant Swing, Democracy Monument and the Golden Mount.

Rattanakosin Island is the area around Sanam Luang, the most well-known open ground in front of the Grand Palace, which is surrounded by several famous temples and important government buildings full of historical charm and character. The Island can be easily explored by a leisure walk.

The prime spots of this walking route are the Marble Temple built from carrara Italian marble, Anantasamakom Throne Hall, the Paliament Building and Vimanmek Mansion which was a palace of King Rama V now used as a museum. You may need to spend more time since it offers more than you have expected.
